Join Abralin

The 14th ABRALIN International Congress (INTERAB) will take place from March 2 to 6, 2026, at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), in Recife. For the first time, the event will be held in a hybrid format, combining face-to-face activities with online broadcasts and debates on a virtual platform. This format seeks to increase accessibility and encourage the participation of researchers from different regions of Brazil and abroad, fostering greater collaboration and knowledge exchange within the academic community. The initiative reflects ABRALIN’s commitment to adapting to new demands and making scientific knowledge more inclusive and comprehensive.

The central theme of the event will be the challenges and advances in language studies in a changing world, and Recife will once again host ABRALIN, marking four decades since the first edition, held in the Northeast, in 1986. The event will bring together researchers, teachers, students and others interested in the area to debate the latest developments in the language sciences.

The programme will include conferences, round tables, oral and poster communications, research panels and satellite events, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of research networks.
