The ABRALIN Award seeks to recognise the quality of academic and professional contributions in the field of Linguistics and to encourage the production, circulation, and accessibility of linguistic knowledge in all regions of Brazil, thus promoting the democratisation of scientific knowledge.

For the 14th edition of InterAb, the ABRALIN Awards have been redesigned with the aim of expanding participation from the scientific community. Undergraduate and master’s students, professors, and researchers can submit their work for the Award, as long as they meet the requirements for each category.

Another new feature of this edition is that ABRALIN has joined the Brazilian Reproducibility Network (Rede Brasileira de Reprodutibilidade – RBR), a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional initiative that aims to promote transparent and reliable research practices within the Brazilian scientific community. This partnership will, for the first time, introduce an award dedicated to scientific reproducibility.

Best Article Published in ABRALIN Journals Award: granted to the best scientific articles published in ABRALIN’s journals Revista da Abralin and Cadernos de Linguística. All articles published will be considered, regardless of the issue or theme.

Roseta Award for Dissemination and Popularisation of Linguistic Science: aimed at initiatives that communicate research findings clearly and accurately to non-specialist audiences, through print or digital media.

Applications must be submitted directly by members through an online form available in the ABRALIN membership system by October 31.

Each member may submit only one entry per category. The results will be announced during the 14th InterAb and published on the ABRALIN website.
