EV 5 – ESTUDOS DOS GESTOS

Resumo:

The event will be co-organized by Dr. André Xavier (UFPR) and Dr. Sherman Wilcox from the University of New Mexico, USA, a renowned signed language and gesture researcher. Dr. Wilcox will deliver a talk at the opening of our event. The satellite event will last two days, and we will accept submissions in English, Portuguese, or Libras. The satellite event we propose here aims not only to gather Brazilian scholars who have developed research on gesture and sign language, but also to create a space for exchanging their knowledge and experience in their respective fields.
